Arriving to Moscow by Train - Moscow Railway Stations Moscow has 9 trains stations. Each is named for the main city or direction it's trains depart to. For instance Yaroslavski goes to Yaroslav and Leningradski goes to St. Petersburg, known as Leningrad until 15 years ago.
Most of the train stations are located in the center close to the Garden Ring Road. You can reach all of them conveniently by metro.
