Communal House (Stalproekt Scientific Research Institute)

Address : Gogolevsky bulvar 8.

 

This experimental communal house in the Constructivist style was erected in 1929-1933 by a collective of architects. It consists of three buildings, one each for single residents and families and a single-story dining hall and club. There was a solarium on the flat roof. Later the building was reconstructed to accommodate the scientific research institute.
