Arafelov House

Patterned on examples of the Moscow Empire style, this building was constructed in 1913 by A. G. lzmirov for the textile manufacturer G. I. Arafelov. Prominently displayed on the gable of the house is its nouveau riche owner's monogram, which resembles an aristocratic coat of arms framed by a relief composition.
