The Church of Antipas of Pergamon at the Carriage Yard (Kolymazhny dvor)

It is possible that the foundation of the old part of the church is the central body of the Church of Moscow Metropolitan Peter, built in 1514 by Aleviso Friazin. Prince S. A. Golytsyn financed the construction of the side chapels in 1722-1740, and the bell tower was added in 1798. The church was closed in 1929 and was used as the book archive of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. In the late 1960s architect L. A. David restored the old central part, which had been reconstructed in the 18th century. Of white stone, it had a tier of kokoshnik arches and a helmet-shaped cupola hidden beneath the later onion dome.
