Banks and money services in Moscow

Bank Cards. No longer is it required to bring large amounts of cash with you. Thankfully, there are many options. We recommend that you rely primarily on your bank card (debit) and credit card. There are cash (ATM) machines on almost every corning in Moscow. Make sure that your bank card is linked to one of the international systems such as Visa or Mastercard.

Travelers Checks. You can cash American Express and Thomas Cook travelers checks, but it’s sometimes difficult and expensive. Many banks no longer cash travelers checks, or they do so for a large fee. The American Express office can cash for you, but it’s only open on weekdays and not in a convenient location.  To be on the safe side, always bring enough safety cash with you to hold you over in the event you lose your bank card. American Express. Address : Usacheva Ul., 33, Str. 1. Phone : 933-8448.
